DIY No Sew Pom Pom Curtains

Okay, so we all know that I am the pom pom queen and that I need to have my apartment be filled with as many pom poms as possible, including on the curtains. I am of course obsessed with Urban Outfitters and I was shopping for curtains on there and found the most perfect sheer pom pom curtains, but honestly, who has the money to spend $30 on one panel when you can make these curtains for a total of $30. There are also a very minimal amount of steps, making this one of the easiest DIYs on this website to date.

SUPPLIES

-Sheer Curtains (2 per window)

- Pom Pom Trim (6)

- Fabri- Tac Permanent Adhesive

MAKING THE CURTAINS

Step One: Start by ironing your curtains. Use the packaging to know what iron setting to use, the curtains will be a little creased from the folding so ironing is a necessity.

Step Two: Once everything is ironed, lay out your curtain on a table or the floor, wherever you have more space. Take your pom pom trim and measure out so your trim equally lines up with the curtain.

Step Three: Place your pom pom trim on top the curtain with the poms facing out. Using the Fabri-Tac glue, begin gluing the trim down into the curtain. There were times where I came to the end of one of the trims and was starting a new trim. I decided that the best way to handle that was to just match the edges up perfectly, leaving no space and also not overlapping.

Repeat step two and three on each side of the curtains that way there are poms on each side. For each window you will have to have two panels which would mean you would repeat these steps a total of 4 times per window.

I loved making these curtains, mainly because they were so easy and they looked incredible in my space! I had two windows and 4 curtains and in total this took about an hour to create. Super easy and fun and the end result looks exactly like the Urban curtains for literally a quarter of the price.

It also opened me to a new product of Fabri-Tac glue which was super simple to use and absolutely will hold up to the test of time. I am thinking that it can be used to make some no sew pillows and other no sew projects.
