Interesting Things!
Happy Wednesday! This week is a very exciting week for me and KC. We are indeed that couple that celebrates every month of dating, even after its been 7 years! It can get exhausting to celebrate every month with something extravagant so most of the time we just like to keep it low key. We did not do anything really crazy for our 7 year anniversary so we are thinking that we may go get some pizza and go bowling. Bowling is something we love more than anything and we like to go as often as we can. We also may go see a movie because we have not seen a movie in quite some time and there are some good ones out now. I am excited to just have some extra special time in the week with KC because we do not always get that with the work week.
This weekend I got the back of the sweater completed! I read that eclipse season is FINALLY over and that means that now we can go back to “normal” whatever that means. Thinking of doing a DIY this week for a quick and easy way to make a hat because it is very cold this week here in Boston! Here’s some links to keep ya’ll entertained.
I recently came upon this winter self care challenge and I am really into it. I feel that winter is the hardest time for me and I always forget to take care of myself because I am so tired and so over it being cold.
I got KC this sleep eye mask for Christmas and I was really jealous of it and obsessed with it so I bought one myself. I have never been an eye mask person but this one is so soft and fluffy and also helps reduce dark circles which is what I need.
I gave my sister this book about being a therapist and also being in therapy. It is so important as a therapist to read these types of books and remember that we need to take care of our elves and mental health as well as care for others.
I really am IN LOVE with this TOPO Designs x Madewell fanny pack and I think I may need to buy it, I have not 100% gotten on the fanny pack trend but with this bag, I feel like I might have to get on board!
I am a huge Mindhunter fan and I found out that their is a podcast about the Atlanta child murders from the second season called Atlanta Monster and I AM HERE FOR IT!
